Alexis Michelle {Cottage Hills, IL}

June 19th, 2009

Tonight I had the opportunity to catch up with friends and make a new friend with little Alexis.  This little six week bundle of joy was instantly a natural for the camera.  She didn’t mind outfit changes, different poses, temperature changes, or if we were indoors or out she was behaving for mommy and daddy tonight.  Justin and Renea, thank you for allowing me to capture beautiful photos of your family.  There are so many good ones I didn’t know which ones to post, so here is a sneak peek from the session.

Mr. & Mrs. Hebert {Assumption, IL}

Two weeks ago the summer wedding season started back up.  I had the opportunity to shot again with Kellie Penn, (Across the Miles Photography).  David and Kristy’s wedding was a small country wedding.  Kristy had picked beautiful browns and blue for the wedding colors and planned every other detail of the wedding with great taste.   I was so impressed at the reception site.  Kristy’s mom and dad through a big party under tents at their own home by a beautiful pond filled with floating tee lights.  This was a beautiful wedding all around!

Thank you David and Kristy for letting Kellie and I be apart of your special day!  Here are some of the shots that I captured from the day.

Mike Smith {Alton, IL}

The other day one of my friends from church called me up to see if I could grab a few head shots for him.  Mike will be published soon in St. Louis Commerce Magazine and need a photo to go with his article.  Mike works for a computer/network solutions company in St. Louis and recently was asked to write an article featuring one of his clients.  R.C.G.A (St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association) is going GREEN!  Mike had the opportunity to help them do that by setting up their computer systems  so that they will help the environment.  Pretty cool and way out of my league!  Here is Mike’s head shot.

New Business Cards

June 1st, 2009

Today when I check the mail I found a great surprise, my new business cards!  I have been dreaming about and waiting for these cards and now they are finally here.  The new cards are not only a great way to get the studio name out in the hands of the public but they are a great way to display some incredible photos.  Each card has a image from a different photo session.  The photos incorporate all the different types of portrait work that we do at Drury Studio – wedding, baby, children, senior,  and couples photography.  If you have been a client of Drury Studio thank you for your business and thank you for helping me start my business!  Here is a sample of the new business cards:
