Tonight I had the opportunity to photograph for the Madison County Republican’s Lincoln Day Dinner.  This event was a chance to meet the 2010 Republican candidates and hear their stance on many of the issues facing America and the state of Illinois today.  To help you learn more about each candidate, I’ve put a link to each candidate’s website in the tag line below their individual photo.  Please get out and vote this year.  Be responsible with the voice you have been given in this country!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot some campaign photos for Jeremy Plank. Jeremy is a new comer to the local politics here in town and our township. Jeremy will bring humility, efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness to the Wood River Township clerk position if elected April 7. I had a surprise in the mail on Saturday. When I checked the mail I discovered that one of photos I had taken for Chris Slusser’s campaign was on his mailer. This was a first for me. I have never seen my work used for advertising before. It was so exciting to see how Chris is using my work. Thanks again Chris for using me for your campaign photos. You have my vote!

A couple of weeks ago a good friend of my Chris Slusser ask me to take some campaign photos for him. Chris is running for the Madison County Board. This photo shoot was a blast for two reasons. One, Chris and his wife Megan are absolutely hilarious and second I felt like I was taking photos for the presidential candidates.
