Monday night Sarah Jane and I went to shoot baby Audrey’s 3 month photos. This little girl is an animated little thing. She has the most beautiful smiles and is so easy going. We took so many photos of her that she got tired of posing and decided to take a nap on us. The sleeping shots happen to be some of my favorite shots from the session. I don’t think she take a bad photo especially with such big beautiful eyes. Take a look at the sneak peak and see if you agree.

Baby First Year Package

Have you wondered about a baby gift for your friends or family? Would you like to have several of your baby’s life milestones captured forever? Have you ever thought that your baby is growing up to quick and I need to clench every moment as they growing up?

If you answered yes to any of these question then our Baby First Year Package is just for you. This package has 5 photo sessions: newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, 1 year. Also you will receive a free 8×10 from each session and 16×20 storyboard at the end of the year. You can purchase this package for $450 ($250 is due up front and the rest will be due at the 9 month session). This is a great way to capture memories from the first year!

Over the 4th of July weekend I headed to Decatur, IL to second shoot for Across The Mile Photography. Joe and Sarah got married in such a beautiful church. This was a special day all around… it was Sarah’s parent’s wedding anniversary, Joe’s birthday and their wedding day all wrapped up in one great day. Before the wedding I took all the guys to some alleys in downtown Decatur to get some very unique urban shoots. After the wedding we did some more on location wedding shoots and ending the night at a very fun reception. Here’s a sneak peak of their day…

Nathan Lew {Brentwood, MO}

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to do Nathan’s 1 year session at Tillies Park in Ladue, MO. This day might have been one of the hottest days this summer. No fear… we pressed on and thanks to Kevan’s great planning we had water with us on location. Thank you! This session was kind of sad and happy for me. Nathan was one of the first babies I have photographed. As reflected on the fact that this was the last session for the year I realized I will miss the Krestel family. This family really has become my friend. Thank you Tiffany and Kevan for trusting me to capture Nathan’s first year for and happy birthday Nathan! Here’s a sneak peak from the session.

Harmon Family {Edwardsville, IL}

This fast Saturday I had the opportunity to meet the Harmon family and photograph this beautiful family. This session was a Christmas gift to Mike and Ceci from the their kids. I think the wait was well worth it. Little Nathan made me laugh as he made faces the whole session to help the rest of his family relax. Last Friday I had the opportunity to catch up with old friends and capture some cute photos of their daughter Elle. Elle just turned 4 years old and is growing into a little lady. It is so hard to believe that Elle is four. It seems like yesterday her dad, Joe, called me to tell me he was going to be a dad. Where does the time go? A couple Saturdays ago, I had the opportunity to kick off the wedding season and work with Kellie Penn of Across The Mile Photography. Brandon and Denise made the first wedding a blast! This couple is such a great couple and takes marriage very seriously. The honored the couple at their reception that had been married the longest. Forty three years was the winner. Brandon and Denise thank you for reminding us how important marriage is and how serious we should take our marriages!

Gabrielle Lynn {Rosewood Heights, IL}

Little Gabrielle is growing up. She is definitely a people baby. She loves people! We shot this session at the Sixth Street park in Wood River, IL and their where a ton of people for her to watch that evening with four softball games taking place. Gabrielle makes me laugh with all of her facial expressions. One moment she will be serious and the next it will be a full blown smile and hands in the air. Here a few photos from this session:

Danielle {Jerseyville, IL}

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to shoot Danielle’s senior photos. Danielle is a home school student from Jerseyville, IL. She is a farm girl with a lot of personality. This was such a fun session for all of us. Danielle brought a cheering section/stylist with her (mom and her sister-in-law). We experience everything from people being freaked out because we used their backyard for photos to a cyclist being angry because we where on the bike path. Doing on location shoots are always an adventure. Danielle, thanks for a fun day and hiring me for your senior photos! Grafton, IL was a great pick for a backdrop. Enjoy your sneak peak!

Alexis Michelle {Bethalto, IL}

Happy Birthday baby Alexis! This little one will be turning one year old in just a few days. I can’t believe it has been a full year already. Alexis’ parents hired me year for the Baby’s First Year Package. This year has been an eventful year for them and a fun one as well. They have moved homes and their bundle of joy is walking and saying a few words now. Justin and Renea thank you allowing me to capture Alexis’ development through out the year!
